They will film the actor's remaining scenes for 'Ginihila' — 'Shooting Star', literally 'glowing red-hot rock'. Actors Niuma Mohamed and Ali Seezan are serving sentences for immoral behaviour. Seezan is banished for eight months to in Hangnaameedhoo island on Haa Dhaal atoll. Niuma is under house arrest for eight months. Both actors have extensive roles in the EMA's production of Ginihila. Esa said that the only reason they weren't already on the island, and filming, was because one of the other actors was unable to leave Malé right now for personal reasons. 'But we will go to that island very soon and complete Seezan's scenes. Niuma's scenes have already been completed,' he said. When asked whether with change in the location would affect the script, Esa said there would be no alterations. 'These scenes were planned for Viligili island, so there is no need for changes. Ginihila is based on the Hindi film 'Raaz'. Most of scenes of the film were filmed in Laam atoll. No more filming 'Without You', Nahula starts another film By Ismail Naseer Haveeru 17 October 2002 Photo from Huvaas translated by Maldives Culture editors Nahula 'Due to Niuma's unavailability, Mapa's film 'Kalaa-aa-nulai' ('Without You') has halted production, and preparations to start another film are underway,' says director Nahula. 'Without You will be on hold until Niuma returns. I'm about to make a new film,' says Nahula. 'Most scenes for Without You have been completed.' Nahula said she will try to begin the new production as soon as possible after the fasting period. The new film, like Without You, is based on a story written by her. Niuma is one of the actors in Without You, along with Aishath Shirani and Yusuf Shafeeu (Yuppe), and a lot of Niuma's scenes have already been shot. She was recently sentenced for immoral behaviour with film actor Ali Seezan. Niuma is now serving her sentence of house arrest, and will return to films in eight months.
